About
Since earning my BFA with Honors from Massachusetts College of Art, art has carried me through many creative lives. From clay artist, art teacher, and painter—with frequent returns to each along the way. Throughout this journey, painting has remained my deepest source of fulfillment.
After many years as a representational painter, devoted to capturing the visible world, I find myself increasingly drawn to what lies beneath the surface, those places where memory, feeling, and experience intersect. Rather than painting what can be photographed, I explore what can only be felt. Through expressive color, intuitive shapes, and layered textures, I seek to create work that speaks to emotion and invites personal interpretation. My paintings are part of an ongoing search for meaning, connection, and a deeper understanding of both art and life.
